In response to the declining yield and quality of mangoes in Ilocos Norte, Governor Imee Marcos distributed fertilizers to 180 mango growers last July 26 at the Takuat Training Center in San Nicolas under the project called “Research and Development for the Rehabilitation of 25,000 Mango Fruit Bearing Trees in Ilocos Norte”. Gov. Imee allotted 5 million pesos for the project that will also bring training programs and farm inputs to mango growers in the province.
